True Or False: Interstitials Convert Better Than Banners?


The answer: True!


Interstitial ads are full-page ads displayed in between content pages, such as before reading an article you’ve clicked on or in between logging in and reaching the destination page.


Since these ads are full-page and often used for one-time deals and free offers, they generally convert a lot better than banners and text ads.


If you were to offer the same deal/freebie via banner or text ad, research and split tests have proven over and over again that conversions would be higher for interstitials.
